A Faster Way to Review Client Billing in Verveware
Sagar Kumar, COO and Co-Founder, Verveware
Billing questions often start with a client: Which services were billed? What invoices are associated with them? What payments have been recorded? Verveware’s new Client Billing view puts that information directly in the client profile, giving billing users a simpler way to review a client’s billing history without navigating away to find individual records.
View Billing History Directly From the Client Profile
The new Billing option makes client-level billing information accessible from a place Verveware users already know: the client profile.
To access it, navigate to the client’s profile, select Schedule, and choose the new Billing option from the dropdown menu.
From there, billing users can see the client’s billing history in one consolidated view. Instead of starting with a separate invoice and working backward to determine whether it belongs to the client in question, users can start with the client and review the relevant billing records from there.
For home care agency billing teams that regularly investigate client-specific questions, this creates a more direct workflow.
See the Billing Details That Matter in One Place
The Client Billing view brings several important pieces of billing information together, including:
Invoice numbers
Payment types
Service dates
Payment amounts
That combination gives billing users a quick picture of billing activity associated with an individual client.
Service dates help connect billing records to when care was delivered, while invoice and payment information helps users understand the financial side of those services. Rather than treating scheduling, services, invoices, and payments as disconnected information, the client-level view makes it easier to follow the billing history associated with that client.
For agencies evaluating Medicaid billing software for home care agencies, this kind of accessibility matters alongside broader capabilities such as EVV, scheduling, billing, and revenue cycle management. Staff need to be able to find the records they are looking for without unnecessary navigation.
Go From Billing History to the Full Invoice
The Client Billing view is also designed to provide a path to more detailed information when needed.
Invoice numbers displayed in the billing history are clickable. Selecting an invoice number takes the user directly to that invoice, where they can review its more detailed billing information.
This creates a simple progression: start with the client, scan the billing history, identify the relevant invoice, and open it for additional detail.
It can be particularly useful when a billing user already knows which client they need to investigate but does not have the invoice number available. The client profile becomes the starting point instead of requiring the user to locate the invoice first.
Client-Level Visibility for a More Practical Billing Workflow
Homecare agency management software has to support the day-to-day work that happens between scheduling a service and reviewing its billing records. The new Client Billing view is a focused improvement to that workflow.
It does not change the underlying documentation or billing requirements an agency may need to follow. Instead, it gives billing users a consolidated way to access existing client billing information and move into individual invoices when more detail is required.
For teams managing many clients and service dates, making information easier to reach can simplify routine billing review and help staff trace records without jumping through unrelated parts of the system.
